High Quality Bird Dogs

At West Desert Kennels, bird dogs are a passion. We strive for natural dogs that have the drive, talent and ability, and toughness to hunt in the desert. Our dogs are hunted hard on wild birds. They also run in an occasional field trial. Our dogs must prove themselves in the field as well as at home with our family.

We prefer the German Shorthaired Pointer. These dogs seem to have the toughness and ability to find birds in the extreme conditions of the Utah Desert.
